Welcome! Here at Budget Bully we are here to help you conquer the wild world of personal finance with a friendly nudge (or two). Our budgeting tools are designed to keep you on track, reminding you when your spending is creeping over the line. Think of us as your budgeting buddy, or possibly a bully—cheering you on when you're saving and sending you a gentle (okay, maybe not-so-gentle) reminder when that latte habit starts to break the bank. So, let’s work together to stay within your budget and make your wallet a little happier! The following outlines our Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please be aware that if you use our services you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms. These Terms may change from time to, check back regularly to make sure you understand and are up to date. The “Last Updated” section at the top of our Terms will let you know if something has been changed. Occasionally, we may notify you through our app or email that changes have been made.
Here’s the deal: This agreement is between you ("you," "your," "user," or even "Budgeting Superstar" (you’ll have to earn that title)) and us, the fine folks at Budget Bully ("we," "us," or "your friendly financial sidekicks"). These Terms lay out all the fun (and important) stuff—like how you get to use our products, services, apps, tools, and features (which we call “Services” because they’re available to serve you!). These Terms also cover everything we offer to help you crush your budget, track your spending, set those ambitious financial goals, and whatever else we’ve dreamed up to keep your wallet in check. It’s all here to make managing your money a little less scary and a lot more doable!
Sometimes there are a few extra rules or terms that may apply. For example, if you buy something through our Services, you might need to agree to some specific payment details. We also work with some great Third Parties (these are people or companies that help us help you) we’ll introduce you to, they might have their own terms you’ll need to accept. We’ll make sure you know how to find their terms and their privacy policies.
To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years of age, capable of forming a binding contract, and not prohibited from using the Products and Services under applicable laws.

By using our Services or accessing our website, you agree to the terms outlined in this document. If you do not agree, please stop using the Products and Services.
This Membership Agreement covers how you use all our Services, your responsibilities and rights. These Services include any software, apps, and cool features like uploading/downloading data, managing files, and making payments. Sometimes, we team up with third-party providers who offer services on our behalf—or we might handle things on their behalf. The terms of third-parties are also important and if we link those terms, you should check them out.
Your Right to Use Products and Services: The mix of Services you get depends on your Membership plan. Some features and functions might differ, and we’ll occasionally tweak things—adding, changing, or even removing certain bits based on feedback or updates. We'll keep you in the loop if we make any major changes, but it’s on you to stay up to date with the latest and greatest.
Security and Credentials: It is your responsibility when it comes to keeping your usernames and passwords ("Credentials") safe and sound. Treat them like your most prized secret! If you ever suspect that someone’s gotten their hands on your Credentials, let us know ASAP, and take steps to lock down your account. The same rule applies to any third-party logins ("Third-Party Credentials")—you’re in charge of keeping those safe too. Basically, if it’s a password, guard it like treasure. And if trouble strikes, we’ve got your back, just make sure you give us a heads-up!
Your Responsibilities with Your Content: It is your responsibility to keep a backup of any content you store, upload, or process through our Services. We and our third-party partners aren’t liable if something goes missing—so it’s always a good idea to have a copy stashed safely! Also, to ensure the Services work their magic for you, it’s on you to provide accurate, up-to-date info. By using our Services, you’re giving us (and our trusted third-party partners) permission to store, process, and manage your content to keep everything running smoothly. We’re here to help, but you’ve got to do your part!
Prohibited Uses: By using our Services, you agree to play by the rules. That means you won’t:
Use the Services in any way that breaks the law, whether it’s local, national, or international.
Infringe on anyone’s intellectual property rights—no copying, distributing, or using content that isn’t yours without permission.
Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or modify our software in any unauthorized way. No peeking behind the curtain!
Share, distribute, or resell the Services or any part of them to third parties without our explicit permission.
Use the Services to send spam, distribute viruses, or engage in any fraudulent or harmful activities.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or third-party systems linked through our Services.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when making payments for the Services we provide. Since we’re just here to help you manage your budget (not process any financial transactions), the only payments you’ll make are to us for using our tools. If there’s ever an issue with your payment—like a failed or incomplete transaction—you’ll be responsible for resolving it and covering any fees.
Our Services may come with some handy third-party features, but it's up to you to follow their terms of service. We can’t vouch for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of anything provided by third parties. We have done our best to vet these third-parties but we don’t guarantee their services. If you have questions about the third-party services, please feel free to ask us.
By using our Services, you consent to receive notifications from us designed to keep you motivated, help you stay on track, provide encouragement, and offer guidance in making good financial decisions. These notifications may also alert you when you're exceeding your spending goals— to give you the extra nudge when you need it most!
You can choose the type of notifications you'd like to receive from us, and some may include explicit language for a little tough love if you opt in. By selecting these options, you agree to receive notifications with that language.
Additionally, you agree that our trusted third-party partners may contact you with information or services to help you meet your financial goals. Rest assured, we will tailor our communications to your preferences.
V. General Terms
These General Terms outline your use of our platform and may be updated from time to time. If we make changes, your continued use of the platform means you accept the new terms, so it’s on you to stay informed.
Platform Access:
We’re giving you limited access to use the platform for its intended purpose. But certain things are a no-go—like reselling or modifying our content. Stick to the guidelines, and everything will run smoothly.
Conduct:
You agree not to use the platform for anything illegal, fraudulent, or harmful. This includes impersonating others, sharing inappropriate content, spreading viruses, or engaging in any behavior that could cause harm. Let’s keep things clean and respectful!
Termination:
If you violate these Terms, we have the right to cut off your access to the platform. If that happens, you must stop using the platform immediately.
No Warranty:
We’re providing the platform “as is,” without any warranties—express or implied. We don’t guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure. Use it at your own risk.
No Indemnification:
If something goes wrong or you face any issues using the platform, we’re not responsible for covering any damages, costs, or losses. You agree not to hold us liable for any problems that arise from your use of the platform.
Jurisdiction:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Utah. Any legal disputes that arise will be handled in the courts of Utah, and by using the platform, you agree to submit to this jurisdiction.
No Class Action:
By using the platform, you agree to resolve any disputes individually and not as part of a class action, group, or representative lawsuit. Each claim must be brought on an individual basis.
Arbitration Clause:
Any dispute or claim arising from or related to these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court. Arbitration will take place in Utah, and the decision of the arbitrator will be final. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
